It's been a while since I've posted, I know. Must be having two kids to keep up with that has kept me off the computer! Even this will be short and sweet as my youngest has been sick and is sleeping so I must make haste!
We went to Liam's Christmas program at school last night. Rewind a couple of weeks ago...we ran into his music teacher at the grocery store and she asked me if I thought Liam would mind having a speaking part in the program. She said it was pretty long, but she felt sure he could do it. All week when I pick Liam up the teachers have said how wonderfully he's doing on his part. OK--now we're current. Papa and ZuZu flew down and joined us as we watched our little thespian! Please excuse the videography-not my finest work but it's hard to keep still when you're 'bubbling' with joy! ;-) He was the hit of the show, if I do say so myself!

Bluebonnets!
We have a goldfish!!
Liam finished his two-weeks of daily swim lessons on Friday. HE DID AWESOME and was promoted to the goldfish level! Check out the great video clips from his last lesson. Now we're on to weekly lessons.
This is a video of Liam getting the rings from the bottom of the pool--
This video shows Liam going from front to back across the pool--it's amazing how well he can float on his back now!

Rodeo 2010
We've been counting down for, well, since we left the rodeo last year, until we could go back! Cowboy LT sure does love him some rodeo!! This year was extra special--Liam's FAVORITE song is Big Green Tractor and the "farmer" who sings it was playing at the rodeo. So, forget Sesame Street Live, Disney On Ice...Liam went to his first concert--Jason Aldean! We had a chamber of commerce day so it was very busy--we even ran into Dr. Firpo and her family at the pony rides!
5:45am Liam appeared in his cowboy hat and with his clothes to put on so we could "go right now" to the rodeo. Um, son, not quite yet. The sun needs to come up and Mommy and Daddy would like to shower!
Tough cowboy, LT. Howdy, m'am.
The 'kickers. Dan on the outside with Liam and Livvy...of course she had to have pink boots. What Texas cowgirl doesn't??
Annual tradition
Liam and Olivia on the Big Green Tractor!
We met up with Liam's bestest friend from Kingwood, Tommy, and his family. They had soooo much fun riding all the rides together!
Not the best picture but it captures the excitement!!

Liam watching the rodeo before the concert. He loved watching all the competitions but the bull riding was his favorite. Well...maybe to watch but he was really interested in the Mutton Bustin' (event where 5 and 6 year olds ride a sheep and attempt to hold on the longest). He said, Mommy I want to do that! I told him we'd have to ask Daddy (who had gone to get some drinks) about it sometime and left it alone. Liam kept turning around and I asked him what he was doing. He said he was looking for Daddy so he could ask him and do it RIGHT NOW!! I said we'd have to look into it for next year. Whoa...not sure if this momma can handle a true cowboy!

Same but Different
Same Mom and Dad. Same pouty lips, apple cheeks, turned-up nose. Eyebrows are the same, as is the chin. Only one thing, that I can see, is different in these two. There may only be one difference but it's the greatest.
Liam has an awesome responsibility now to teach precious little Olivia all about the wonderful Grandmother that loved her from the second she knew about her! We miss you terribly Mom.

Olivia Virginia is here!
As "planned" Olivia Virginia Traynor made her grand entrance on December 28, 2009 at 11:52 am. She weighed 7 pounds 5 ounces and was 19 1/4 inches long. We are doing great and are very glad to be home enjoying our new family of four! We are so complete!
